SORG South-East Asia

The South East Asia Group has been established in November 2016 at the occasion of 12th ACOMS in Manila, the Philippines. This group seeks for providing a platform for surgeons from the whole ASEAN region for communication, scientific exchange, education and teaching. Primary goal is to offer postgraduate teaching and educational events for resident surgeons as well as for senior expert surgeons in state-of-the-art CMF surgery. The section will cover the entire range of scientific topics of today's CMF surgery: Trauma, TMJ, orthognathic, reconstructive and preprosthetic surgery, but also fields like 3D-computer planning, orthodontics or distraction osteogenesis. At the moment, the group consists of three members from different ASEAN countries as well as one member from Hong Kong.
