After six years, Vincent J. Perciaccante, DDS, FACS, will hand over his position as SORG Chairman to David B. Powers, DMD, MD, FACS, FRCS (Ed).

Season’s Greetings, SORG Members, Faculty, and Friends,

As we embrace the holiday season and look forward to the New Year, I extend my warmest wishes to you all for a joyful and healthy holiday period.

With the turning of the calendar comes a new chapter for SORG North America. It has been my privilege to serve two terms as Chair of SORG NA these past six years, and I am grateful for the opportunity. As this year draws to a close, I will be passing the torch to new leadership.

At the Board of Directors meeting in September, David B. Powers, DMD, MD, FACS, FRCS (Ed), was elected as the next Chair of SORG NA. David has been an active and dedicated faculty member since 2013 and has served on our Board since 2018. I have every confidence that his vision and commitment will continue to advance the organization’s educational mission with excellence.

At the same time, we extend heartfelt gratitude to Eric J. Dierks, DMD, MD, FACS, FACD, FRCS (Ed), as he completes his tenure as Immediate Past Chair. Eric has been a cornerstone of SORG NA since 2007 as a founding faculty member and Board member, serving as Chair from 2013 to 2018 and Immediate Past Chair from 2019 to 2024. His tireless dedication, impactful lectures, and wise leadership have been instrumental in shaping SORG NA’s legacy of exceptional education delivered with a personal touch. We are thankful for his contributions and enduring commitment to the organization.

Looking ahead to the future, let’s also celebrate the many accomplishments of the past, made possible by the hard work and dedication of so many in the SORG NA family. Thank you to the members, the faculty, and the staff for all of their contributions.

Vincent J. Perciaccante, DDS, FACS
