A 2-day SORG course on the basic principles of assessment and treatment in maxillofacial traumatology was celebrated on October 07th + 08th, 2019 in London

This interactive limited attendance event was aimed at junior medical and dental trainees undertaking rotations in oral and maxillofacial surgery and junior trainees considering or just commencing specialist training. A group of 20 attendees switched between detailed lectures and practical exercises in a comprehensive approach to all CMF trauma-related topics.

The faculty members Elizabeth Gruber (Harlow, UK), Indran Balasundaran (London, UK) and the SORG Trauma Section members Baucke van Minnen (Groningen, NL) and Course Chairman Niall McLeod (London, UK) gave insights in all details as speakers as well as hands-on instructors for the whole group. This course will certainly be institutionalized attracting many more trainees for further learning.
